4. Purpose of Processing Personal Data

Personal data is processed for the provision of car rental services, customer relationship management, and invoicing.
Data may also be used for service development, statistical purposes, and marketing, provided the customer has given consent for marketing communications.

The register may contain the following information:

  • Customer details (name, personal identity code, address, phone number, email address)

  • Driving licence and payment information (e.g., last four digits of a credit or debit card)

  • Details of reservations and previous rentals

  • Marketing permissions and opt-outs

  • Billing and payment transaction information

  • Customer service communications

  • User IP address and browser technical information

  • Possible vehicle location data (if used in the service)

Data is obtained directly from the customer when making a reservation or during other customer service interactions.

Data may be disclosed, within the limits permitted by law, to trusted partners who participate in service provision (e.g., payment service providers, invoicing partners, web hosting providers).
All partners comply with data protection legislation and process personal data only according to our instructions and agreements.

Data will not be transferred outside the European Union or the European Economic Area without ensuring an adequate level of protection.

The register is stored in a secure system with access granted only to employees who require the data for their work tasks.
All data is processed via encrypted connections, and backups are stored securely.
